RSVP - Your Invitation To Serve
RSVP is a federally authorized national service program of AmeriCorps Seniors. RSVP provides volunteers age 55+ with the opportunity to apply their life experiences to meeting community needs in Denton County. RSVP connects volunteers with service opportunities that promote positive change and help solve community problems. There are many ways you can serve which includes tutoring and mentoring youth, building capacity for nonprofits, delivering food to the hungry and home bound, ushering at theatres and offering resources to Veterans. RSVP volunteers choose how, where, and how often they want to serve. Volunteer benefits include limited volunteer mileage reimbursement, recognition, and extended personal liability, accident and excess automobile insurance. Membership is free.
